I hope that Rupert is able to talk some sense in the rest of the tribe. I just hope Sandra was discreet enough to get past Russell. Anyone ever read the book/seen the movie “The Boy In The Striped Pajamas”? Sandra reminded me of Schmuel in that movie. Being somewhere she shouldn’t be, talking to someone she shouldn’t be and hoping that no one would see her.

The smartest for the Heroes would be to “secretly” pull Sandra in with them and pick off the Villains one by one. That is if everyone can see through the paranoia and smoke, and bananas apparently.

That was the CRAZIEST tribal I’ve seen!! Who’d a thought that Parvati would play the idols that way. Very smart! I just hope that Sandra can turn it around and show the tribe who’s boss.

Again, not having seen Russell’s season, they don’t know what he’s like. I just don’t know what to say!! How stupid can they be?! What are they going to do when they see that Courtney’s gone? I realize this is one of the most lame updates but I’m speechless! I keep thinking JT’s the stupidest player, but NONE of his tribe tried to talk him out of it. NONE!!

Could Sandra not actually get under the obstacle or was she trying to throw the challenge? Although you’d think that 2 girls as skinny as Parvati and Courtney would make it without any problem at all! But alas, no idol for you. As much as I would like to see Russell gone, Danielle’s point about Courtney being a physically weak competitor is totally valid. Especially when they got a close up of her stick-esque legs. Beautiful!

Typically male, Russell wouldn’t listen to Danielle who was talking reason about voting Courtney and keeping Coach. Wouldn’t that make sense? And when talking about not listening, Sandra apparently couldn’t hear Danielle when she said it wasn’t her and Courtney’s fault that they lost the reward. I think THAT could be the reason they’re not winning. Or perhaps because 3 weeks in a row they’ve sent home their 3 strongest players!! What the heck are they going to do in challenges now?

What a shocker! Russell’s going to be a grumpy ol’ troll next week! Parvati didn’t vote with him. That might be a melt down waiting to happen. He’ll be on the war path!

Heroes <finally> win reward!! YAY!!! Way to work together team! Complete with a scuffle between Rupert and Russell, it was a lovely challenge. What a lovely reward… or is it? Another hidden immunity idol. How noble do they all want to look wanting to find the idol together? What are they going to do with it when they find it?

Unfortunately, as fast as the Heroes are getting the pieces of the puzzle, if you can’t put it together your physical lead is done. Fortunately the Heroes managed to pull it out and finish the puzzle first! What a morale boost! Now to see what the Villains do with their time at Tribal. It’s funny how Russell can analyze how everyone else did when he has sat out on the challenge and be very critical. How well does he really do at challenges? He’s not incredibly physical and isn’t really the reason the tribe wins in any case.

I would totally trust Rob over Russell!! Of course they haven’t seen Russell’s game which I wonder: would it change the way they see him? We’ll never know.

I saw an interview with Jerri once where she said that tribal council lasts for like 2 hours! 2 HOURS! Could you imagine being Jeff having to sit through 2 hours of all the bickering and tattling? I think he deserves an honorary psychiatry degree.

NNNOOOO!!!!!! Not ROB!!! I was so gunning for him! Darn you Coach!! I guess when he gives his word, it’s what he’s going to do. Although he had the right idea of getting rid of the weakest player. ‘Cause really, what are they going to do in the next puzzle challenge.

Do you respect Colby throwing himself under the bus for a relaxing afternoon and not giving them too much information at tribal council? He really hasn’t proven himself so it is honorable in a way. I have to agree with Rupert: why get rid of a guy who, although hurt, doesn’t give up? Get rid of they guy that’s basically holding up his white flag. Not rocket science really.

Pretty intense Villains tribal for a few minutes. I honestly thought that Russell was going home. Tyson shot himself squarely in the foot and now he’s gone and the troll is still under the bridge.

Heroes tribal was a little less eventful. Hopefully they succeeded in not revealing too much to the other tribe. Although it’s hard to say if they could concentrate whilst stuffing their faces with hot dogs. Even though James couldn’t beat JT in a foot race on the beach, keeping a guy with his head in the game over a guy who seems so far away doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

It’s just worth it to watch the tension between Rob and Russell. It’s funny, the one thing that annoyed the snot out of me last season is part of the reason I get excited to watch every week

As far as the challenge, there’s focus and then there’s tense and up tight. Unfortunately when they need their strongest player, there’s an injury. Although JT flipping Coach and Rupert throwing Jerri’s head into the post made up for it. Of course, they came up short in the end. Hopefully they will be able to step it up for the immunity challenge. Chocolate is a decadent treat under the right circumstances. When you haven’t eaten properly for a few days that much chocolate would just spell disaster!!

It will be interesting to see how the whole Russell and the hidden idol plays out. There seems to be a bit of a power struggle between Russell and Rob. Rob seems to have a few more “followers” but you never know what would happen when there is a hidden idol dangled in front of them. But really, that idol can only benefit one person as far as I can see.

Rob doesn’t seem like an incredibly intelligent guy, but MAN is that guy good at puzzles!! The Heroes had a HUGE lead but let it go.

Poor James! What nasty luck!! He is the strongest and weakest player all at the same time, really. Tribal should be an interesting with JT buzzing around to everyone, James in a cast and everyone scrambling to make a decision.

I think that was smart voting. Tom may be a strong guy and not in a cast, but I think he was almost a cancer of sorts in the tribe. It seemed as thought he was just trying so hard to be heard and followed but it just wasn’t happening. Regardless, James seems like he’ll be back in shape in no time. He’s a positive addition to the tribe, just so long as you shoot as straight as he does. He tells it like it is and that is respectable. Tom tells it like it is too, but seems to want to shove it down your throat whether you like it or not. Let’s hope that this is the turn they need to win challenges.

I promise that my next update will be on time! Although don’t look for it next week. Because of March Madness basketball extravaganza, there will be no Survivor next week at all. The following week it will be on Wednesday (March 24). Until then…

Great challenge – brought to you by Sears. Complete with a clue to the hidden immunity idol. Of course Russell would try to find it. I’m surprised he hasn’t already. Of course not having watched Samoa, the villains don’t know that Russell had found 3 idols without any clues. I guess that’s a small advantage that Russell has, no one saw his season. Although Rob is on to him. Smart guy! I don’t know, if the villains found the hidden idol would it in fact end up in the water? I doubt it.

Heroes were SO close both times, but unfortunately close doesn’t count. I still don’t understand why, while still in a tribe they’d try to get rid a strong member of the group. You want strength when you’re in a tribe, don’t you? That’s my theory anyway. Tom’s plan sounded like a scramble move, but it made sense. Get rid of Cirie. If JT is a smart boy, he’ll listen to Tom…

Good boy, JT!!! I don’t know if you caught her comments at the end but she wasn’t bitter or shocked. She was actually impressed that they did something that she would have done. Although she was annoying and we’re happy she’s gone that was probably one of the classiest exiting comments I’ve heard.

JT is GOOD!! He’s quite conniving but he’s got such a good country boy cover. I guess it’s true that the Southern accent can make you seem so honest. Whatever, it’s working for him.

What a great challenge!! I always watch Survivor on the PVR and 9 times out of 10, I skip through the challenges. Not this one! Heroes take them ALL down!! Coach’s premature celebration was poetic! Dragon slayer indeed. And pitting James against Randy was brilliant. Randy didn’t have a chance!

Randy really hasn’t changed. I used to think that he was a bitter old man, but I’ve come to realize that he’s just a paranoid, crazy old man!! You can see that some of the players have changed and then there are those that just don’t change. Rob and Jerri seem to have grown up a little bit. Coach isn’t capable of change, I’m sure. Because honestly, what is that feather thing hanging around his ear? You don’t look like a warrior, you look… um… “special”.

Okay, after I saw tribal council I take back that I didn’t think Randy was bitter. Throwing his buff into the fire reminded me of something my 6 year old would do! Oh well, good riddance.

Well, that’s my 2 cents, for what it’s worth. And if you don’t like it… well, you know.

I’ve been running a pool for about the last 12 or 13 seasons (that I have yet to win!) and have been entertaining those in the pool with a weekly update. I hope you find it as entertaining as they have.

Well, I have to say, I never really liked Boston Rob in the 2 seasons he’s been in. He was so conniving and slimy. I guess that’s because some of the other players haven’t come around yet. Last episode almost made Rob… dare I say human. And the fact that Russell has since been put into the Survivor alumni, Rob doesn’t seem that slimy.

I think Stephenie was a good choice to get rid of as I think she needed a little bit more listening and a little less mouth. Man!! I hope that tribe doesn’t end up imploding because that would be an unfortunate victory for the Villains. As in any superhero comic, good always overcomes evil!

My picks for this season? JT, Jerri, Rob and Parvati. I really like the way JT played in his last season. He’s just so darn likable but still knows how to manipulate. Jerri has been surprisingly subdued (or at least they’re not showing much of the contrary) and seems to be a lot more relaxed. Maybe she’s just as smitten with Coach as he is with her, who knows?! I think if she doesn’t rock the boat, she’ll go far. Rob, well, he’s just got a butt load of personality and charisma! And Parvati, well, she’s just very cunning and knows how to use her feminine charms.

It’s going to be an interesting season and I’m looking forward to keeping you posted with my opinion, for what it’s worth. And if you don’t like it… well, you know.

She’s got a Survivor Pool going for Heroes vs Villians. I think this season will be very exciting. Last season was great.

My picks are Boston Rob, Russell, JT and Colby.

Boston Rob is a very good player. He’ll go far. Russell is very good as well. He may not win for the same reasons as last season, but he’ll go far. JT I liked on his season, and he’s willing to change things up. I think that’ll work for him. Colby is charismatic and that should do him well. This is his third go, so maybe this season will work.
